What is the time??
A watch was set accurately at 8.30am and then lost 2 seconds for every 5 minutes. What time was indicated on the watch at 6.30pm on the same day?
Answer:
6.26pm
Explanation:
As given the question, the watch will lost 2 seconds for every 5 minutes,
therefore, for 10min = 4 sec
20min = 8 sec
40min = 16 sec
60min (1 hour)= 24 sec
10 hours = 240 sec which is 4 min.
Therefore after 10 hours, 4 min delay will occur i.e at 6.30pm it will show 6.26pm.

main()
{
int i=0;
while(+(+i--)!=0)
i-=i++;
printf("%d",i);
}
Answer:
-1
Explanation:
{
int i=0;
while(+(+i--)!=0)
i-=i++;
printf("%d",i);
}
Answer:
-1
Explanation:
Unary + is the only dummy operator in C. So it has no effect on the expression and now the while loop is, while(i--!=0) which is false and so breaks out of while loop. The value –1 is printed due to the post-decrement operator.

What is the relation?
A father is 4 times his son's age. And in 30 years son's age will be half of his father's age. How old are the father and son now???
Answer:
Son's age : 15
Father's age : 60
Explanation:
The ratio of the father and son's age is now 4 to 1 and 30 years from now it will be 2 to 1. The period of thirty years equals the difference of the two ratios or 2 to 1. Therefore, 30*2 = 60, the father's age and (1/2) * 30 = 15, the son's age.
Find out no. of days.
A is thrice as good as workman as B and therefore is able to finish a job in 60 days less than B. Working together, they can do it in??
Answer:
45 | (or)22 | 1 | days. |
2 | 2 |
Explanation:
Ratio of times taken by A and B = 1 : 3.
The time difference is (3 - 1) 2 days while B take 3 days and A takes 1 day.
If difference of time is 2 days, B takes 3 days.
If difference of time is 60 days, B takes | 3 | x 60 | = 90 days.
2 |
So, A takes 30 days to do the work.
A's 1 day's work = | 1 |
30 |
B's 1 day's work = | 1 |
90 |
(A + B)'s 1 day's work = | 1 | + | 1 | = | 4 | = | 2
30 | 90 | 90 | 45 |
A and B together can do the work in | 45 | = 22 | 1 | days. |

Find the length of the tunnel..
A train 800 metres long is running at a speed of 78 km/hr. If it crosses a tunnel in 1 minute, then the length of the tunnel (in meters) is??
Answers:
500meters
Explanation:
Answers:
500meters
Explanation:
Speed = | 78 x | 5 | m/sec | = | 65 | m/sec.
18 | 3 |
Time = 1 minute = 60 seconds.
Let the length of the tunnel be x metres.
Then, | 800 + x | = | 65 | ||
60 | 3 |
3(800 + x) = 3900
x = 500

What is the age of youngest child??
The sum of ages of 5 children born at the intervals of 3 years each is 50 years. What is the age of the youngest child?
Answer:
4 Years.
Explanation:
Let the ages of children be x, (x + 3), (x + 6), (x + 9) and (x + 12) years.
Then, x + (x + 3) + (x + 6) + (x + 9) + (x + 12) = 50
5x = 20
x = 4.
Age of the youngest child = x = 4 years.

Answer:
6.75hours
Before.....
one day work=1/20
one hour work=1/(20x9)
